0011: From the Executive Suite to Entrepreneurship with Tami Gaines
While most kids her age were playing dolls, Tami was busy launching her first business – one that would be just the beginning of a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship.
Like most people, Tami thought the path to owning her own business would be smoother with degrees and corporate experience. She earned her MBA from Columbia University and entered Colgate-Palmolive Company’s globally-recognized management training program after graduation.
Before leaving her corporate career behind to pursue full-time entrepreneurship, Tami held executive positions at Colgate Palmolive and a few other nationally recognized brands in the consumer goods industry. As a business owner, she has had success in the Consulting, Technology and Network Marketing Industries.
In addition, she is a published author, motivational speaker and single mom of 4.
Tami strives to be a role model for balance and abundance and knows “With a strong core, you can have it all.”
